The chair rail is finally done...I finished painting yesterday with some help.  Thankfully no little ones were too interested in this project.   Here is a before.... and then the after....not a huge difference. The problem with our house is it is painted with builder grade paint.  So no handprints, scuff marks or base ball bat marks come off the walls (thank you Jackson)...

There is just something about the beach that makes everything okay.  We arrrived this afternoon and headed to the beach right away. We played in the HUGE waves and then came back to the pool at the condo...it was so fun.  The water at the pool was bathwater warm and the kids loved it. What a BLAST!!!!  Ryan and I figured out on the way to Toronto that 2007 was the last time when we went away together for a night without the kids....it was LOOOOOOONG overdue.  We slept, watched movies, got stopped and pulled over by border patrol, went to a great wedding, and both were excited to return home to the kiddos. We broke out the water table and Jackson is in love.  Combine his knack of finding dirt anywhere and the water table and we are sure to have a muddy summer.  It took him all of about 5 minutes to get himself soaked from head to toe.

We had a great start to the weekend...the weather cooperated for the most part and we got some of our plants in our new little garden.  I think Brianna got more dirt outside of the garden than in but all in all we made it work.
